Augusta Man Wanted for Questioning in Suspicious Death Investigation

The Richmond County Sheriff’s Office is seeking 38-year-old Javon Latrelle Johnson for questioning in connection with a suspicious death that occurred on Tuesday, May 13, 2025, in the 2200 block of Harding Road, located in the Park South area of Augusta.

Johnson also has an outstanding warrant for a probation violation unrelated to this investigation. He is known to frequent Harding Road, Balfour Road, and the 3000 block of Peach Orchard Road.

He is described as a Black male, 6 feet 1 inch tall, weighing 225 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes.
