Doraville Acupuncturist Indicted for Alleged Sexual Assaults Involving Multiple Patients

A doctor who operated an acupuncture practice in Doraville has been indicted for allegedly sexually assaulting multiple patients, according to the DeKalb County District Attorney’s Office.
On Tuesday, April 29, 2025, a DeKalb County Grand Jury indicted 70-year-old Dr. Meu Keon Kim of Norcross on four counts of Aggravated Sexual Battery and seven counts of Sexual Battery. In addition to the indictment, the DA’s Office also filed misdemeanor accusations formally charging Kim with nine additional counts of Sexual Battery.
The case stems from a Doraville Police investigation that began when two female patients reported being inappropriately touched by Dr. Kim during treatment sessions. Kim was arrested on February 11, 2025. Additional charges were filed in March 2025 as more alleged victims came forward. Tuesday’s indictment and accusations are connected to seven victims.
Dr. Kim remains in the DeKalb County Jail without bond and is scheduled for arraignment on July 25, 2025.
Authorities said the investigation is ongoing and urged anyone with information or who believes they may have been a victim to contact the DA’s Office tip line at 404-371-2444.
