Fulton County Officer Shot, South Fulton Officer Injured, Suspect Dead in Gunfight

A Fulton County Police officer and a South Fulton Police officer were injured in an exchange of gunfire on Friday morning near 4120 Fulton Industrial Boulevard. The suspect involved in the incident was fatally wounded.  

The incident began at approximately 11:40 a.m. when Fulton County Police officers observed a suspicious individual in the area and requested backup. A South Fulton Police officer responded to provide assistance.

Upon the South Fulton officer’s arrival, gunfire was exchanged. Both the Fulton County officer and the South Fulton officer sustained injuries. The suspect was also shot and died at the scene.  

Authorities have stated that this is an active and ongoing investigation, and further updates will be provided as more information becomes available.
