Second Teacher Arrested in Student Sexual Contact Case at Greene County School

The Georgia Bureau of Investigation (GBI) has arrested and charged Sherri Delle Mauldin, 60, of Buckhead, Georgia, a former teacher at Nathanael Greene Academy, with multiple felony charges related to sexual contact with a student.

Mauldin was arrested and charged with Improper Sexual Contact by an Employee, Agent, or Foster Parent, Aggravated Child Molestation, and Statutory Rape.

The investigation confirmed that Mauldin engaged in sexual contact with a student during her employment at the academy.

Mauldin was booked into the Greene County Sheriff’s Office Jail.

This arrest follows the previous arrest of Bonnie Elizabeth Brown, 25, another former teacher at Nathanael Greene Academy, who was charged with Improper Sexual Contact by an Employee, Agent, or Foster Parent.

The investigation remains active and ongoing.
