Teacher Arrested for Improper Sexual Contact with Student

Bonnie Elizabeth Brown, 25, of White Plains, Georgia, has been arrested and charged with Improper Sexual Contact by an Employee, Agent, or Foster Parent, the Georgia Bureau of Investigation (GBI) announced on March 21, 2025.  

The arrest follows a nine-month investigation initiated at the request of the Greene County Sheriff’s Office on June 14, 2024, regarding allegations of sexual contact between a student and a former teacher at Nathanael Greene Academy (High School) in Siloam, Georgia.

The investigation confirmed that Brown engaged in sexual contact with a student while employed at the academy. Prior to her arrest, Brown was teaching at Washington Wilkes Primary School in Wilkes County.

Brown was booked into the Greene County Sheriff’s Office Jail.
