19-Year-Old Woman Killed, Driver Injured in Early Morning Macon Crash

The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a fatal single-vehicle crash that occurred early Sunday morning on Bloomfield Road near Rocky Creek Road.

The Macon-Bibb E-911 Center received a call about the accident at 3:54 a.m. on March 23, 2025. Deputies arrived to find a southbound vehicle had struck a pole, leaving both occupants unresponsive.

The driver, a 20-year-old woman, was transported to a medical facility with serious injuries. Medical staff listed her in critical but stable condition. The passenger, identified as 19-year-old Jakayla Holman of Macon, was pronounced deceased at the scene by Deputy Coroner Ronnie Miley.
