Woman Arrested After Attempting to Hit Worker with Vehicle in Glynn County

On Tuesday, March 11, Glynn County Police officers arrested Katherine A. Adams in connection with a hit-and-run and aggravated assault incident that occurred on Satilla Drive.
The arrest followed an incident involving a Live Oak fiber technician who was working near 239 Satilla Drive. According to the technician, Adams approached him aggressively and claimed he did not belong in the area. Moments later, she attempted to strike him with her vehicle. The technician, who was wearing a high-visibility safety vest, managed to move out of the way in time to avoid being hit.

Officers identified Adams and located her at her residence on Satilla Drive, where she was taken into custody without incident. Adams was transported to the Glynn County Detention Center and charged with Hit & Run and Aggravated Assault.
