Three Teenagers Captured in Florida and Charged with Kidnapping and Murder in Walton County Shooting

The Georgia Bureau of Investigation (GBI) has arrested three teenagers in connection with the September 2024 killing of 23-year-old Adrian Wofford.

On Wednesday, January 29, 2025, authorities charged Charles Randolph Johnson, 17, of Social Circle, GA; his brother Christian Antonio Johnson, 15, of Social Circle, GA; and Trayvon Willie Means, 16, of Gainesville, FL, with multiple felonies, including Hijacking a Motor Vehicle, Kidnapping, False Imprisonment, Armed Robbery, Aggravated Assault, Possession of a Firearm in the Commission of a Crime, and Felony Murder.

The case began on September 18, 2024, when Social Circle Police requested the GBI’s assistance in investigating Wofford’s death. Officers found him on Carver Drive with multiple gunshot wounds.

The three suspects were already in custody in Gainesville, FL, on unrelated charges when they were served with warrants for Wofford’s murder. Authorities will now begin the extradition process to bring them to Georgia to face prosecution.
