Traffic Stop Leads to Drug and Firearm Arrests in Reynolds

On February 16, 2025, Reynolds Police Corporal Mischel conducted a traffic stop on a white Ford Expedition for suspended registration. During the stop, officers detected the odor of marijuana, prompting further investigation. Sergeant Harrell, Officer Mathis, and Officer Joiner arrived to assist.

Officers found marijuana and a scale on the driver, identified as 34-year-old Markell Ramon Collins of Oglethorpe, Georgia. The passenger, identified as 61-year-old Robert Bryan Wormley of Ideal, Georgia, was found in possession of suspected crack cocaine and a smoking pipe. Additionally, Collins was in possession of a stolen .38 caliber firearm, and Wormley, a convicted felon, was also in possession of a firearm.

Both individuals were taken into custody and charged with the following offenses:

Markell Ramon Collins:

  • Operating a Vehicle While Registration Suspended (Misdemeanor)
  • Possession of Marijuana (Misdemeanor)
  • Possession of Drug-Related Objects (Misdemeanor)
  • Theft by Receiving Stolen Property (Felony)

Robert Bryan Wormley:

  • VGCSA Schedule II – Cocaine (Felony)
  • Possession of Drug-Related Objects (Misdemeanor)
  • Possession of a Firearm by a Convicted Felon (Felony)
  • Giving False Name and Date of Birth to Law Enforcement (Misdemeanor)

The case remains under investigation.
