Police Seek Help Identifying Homicide Victim Found in Clarkston

On January 30, 2025, the Clarkston Police Department and DeKalb County Fire Rescue responded to reports of a brush fire in a wooded area between the Ellis and Silver Oaks apartment complexes on Brockett Road. After extinguishing the fire, firefighters discovered the body of an unidentified Black male, who had suffered a fatal gunshot wound.

The victim is described as a Black male, estimated to be between 17 and 25 years old, approximately 5 feet tall, and weighing between 95 and 100 pounds. He has distinctive features, including a chipped front tooth, pierced ears with diamond studs, and a pierced nose with a gold stud. At the time of discovery, he was wearing Jordan 9 Retro Black and Olive sneakers, a dog tag chain inscribed with the Bible verse Joshua 9:1, black and gold rectangular sunglasses, and a clear beaded bracelet.

Clarkston police are asking anyone with information about the victim’s identity or the circumstances surrounding the incident to contact Detective Greg Feltman at 678-431-1472.
