Three Arrested in Connection with Vehicle Break-ins and Stolen Firearm in Bibb County

The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office Gang Unit, with support from the Special Investigations and Crime Analyst Unit, arrested three suspects on January 27, 2025 following an Entering Automobile investigation.
Deputies responded to Falls at Spring Creek on Wesleyan Drive at approximately 10:00 a.m. after receiving reports of several vehicle doors being found open. Investigators learned that multiple items, including a stolen firearm, were taken from the vehicles. A stolen item was traced back to a residence on the 2000 block of Vineville Avenue, leading investigators to the location.
Upon arrival, multiple occupants attempted to flee the residence but were apprehended without incident. A subsequent search warrant uncovered a variety of stolen items, including firearm magazines, ammunition, ski masks, gloves, body armor, and licenses. Investigators also recovered the previously stolen firearm. Several stolen items were returned to their rightful owners, while the remaining items were taken to the Bibb County Sheriff’s Office Crime Lab for further processing.
The suspects have been identified as Cedrick Arnett Johnson Jr. (19), Jerry Patterson III (22), and Jesus Ozuna Perez (20). All three were charged with Felony Entering Automobile with Intent to Commit Theft and have been released on bond.
