Drugs, Guns Seized in Telfair County Raid; One Arrested

On Friday, January 24, the Oconee Drug Task Force, along with deputies from Telfair and Dodge counties, executed a search warrant at a residence near the Workmore area in Telfair County.
During the search, authorities recovered 28 grams of methamphetamine, 51 grams of fentanyl, 2 grams of heroin, 90 oxycodone pills, 5 tramadol pills, and several Suboxone strips. Numerous firearms were also seized from the property.
One individual was arrested, facing multiple charges, including:
- Trafficking methamphetamine and fentanyl
- Possession of methamphetamine, fentanyl, heroin, and Schedule II & IV substances
- Possession with intent to distribute methamphetamine, fentanyl, heroin, and Schedule II & IV substances
- Possession of a firearm during the commission of a crime
Telfair County Sheriff Davidson emphasized the department’s commitment to removing illegal drugs and firearms from the streets. He thanked the Oconee Drug Task Force for leading the case and the Dodge County Sheriff’s Office for their assistance.
