Convicted Felon with Gun and Narcotics Arrested After Traffic Stop in Bibb County

Bibb County Sheriff’s Office S.R.T. Unit deputies conducted a traffic stop on a silver Cadillac traveling on Broadway after receiving a tag alert.

The driver, a convicted felon with an active warrant, initially refused to cooperate, telling deputies he was aware of his warrant and would not exit the vehicle. He then rolled up his window and locked the doors.

Deputies removed the driver from the vehicle and placed him in handcuffs. A search of the Cadillac revealed a firearm in the trunk and narcotics inside the vehicle, including crack cocaine and powder cocaine.

The suspect was transported to the Bibb County Sheriff’s Office Law Enforcement Center and faces multiple charges.
