Monroe Police Arrest Suspect in Christmas Day Shooting That Left One Dead
On December 25, 2024, at approximately 6:06 p.m., Monroe Police Department officers responded to reports of a shooting near the 400 block of Maple Way.
Upon arrival, officers discovered Tyesha Colley, 35, and her husband, Jermaul Colley, 41, both of Conyers, had been shot. Tyesha was pronounced dead at the scene, while Jermaul was transported for medical treatment.
Devin Sullivan, 21, of Monroe, has been arrested in connection with the incident and charged with Aggravated Assault and Murder. Additional charges are pending as the investigation continues.
