Pedestrian Killed in Hit-and-Run on Pio Nono Avenue; Authorities Seek Public’s Help
Bibb County Sheriff’s Office deputies responded to a report of a person down in the roadway near the Rose’s Shopping Center on Pio Nono Avenue around 10:25 p.m. on Wednesday.
Upon arrival, deputies discovered that a female pedestrian had been struck and killed by an unknown vehicle. The victim has not been identified.
She is described as a light-skinned Black female with a short afro hairstyle. She was wearing blue jeans, a gray hoodie, and tie-dye Crocs. A star tattoo is located on her left wrist.
The victim will be transported to the GBI Crime Lab for an autopsy after identification.
