Paulding County Man Sentenced to 10 Years for Aggravated Stalking Former Spouse

Robert S. Lane, District Attorney for the Paulding Judicial Circuit, announced that 59-year-old Keith Eugene Foster has been sentenced to 10 years in the state prison system for Aggravated Stalking.

Foster was convicted by a jury following a trial held from December 2 to December 5, 2024. The charge stemmed from repeated acts of stalking targeting his former spouse.

The harassment began in 2004, leading to a family violence temporary protective order (TPO) being issued against Foster. Despite a permanent protective order in place, Foster violated it on January 12, 2018, by showing up uninvited at the victim’s residence.

Superior Court Judge T. David Lyles handed down the 10-year sentence. The Paulding County Sheriff’s Office conducted the investigation and arrested Foster. The case was prosecuted by Deputy Chief Assistant District Attorney Tom Cole and Assistant District Attorney Christina Morgan-Young.
