Rabid Raccoon Confirmed in White County After Contact with Two Dogs

White County Environmental Health confirmed a rabies case involving a raccoon that recently had contact with two dogs in the Woodlawn Dr. area. The raccoon, tested at the Georgia Public Health Lab in Decatur, was confirmed rabid on November 7, marking the second rabies case in the county this year.
