Clayton County Woman Wanted for 2019 Murder Captured in Ohio
On April 3, 2019, Clayton County Police Department officers, led by Chief Kevin Roberts, responded to a shooting in the unincorporated Riverdale area.
The victim, 26-year-old Robert Ragland, was found with a gunshot wound to the abdomen and later pronounced deceased at a local hospital. Investigators discovered that Ragland had been lured to College Park, Georgia, where he was robbed and fatally shot.
Tiunna Williams was identified as a key suspect, and warrants were issued for her arrest, including charges of:
- Murder with Malice
- Felony Murder
- Armed Robbery
- Aggravated Assault with Intent to Rob
- Possession of a Firearm During the Commission of a Felony
- Conspiracy to Commit a Felony
Clayton County Sheriff Levon Allen placed Williams on his Top Ten Most Wanted List, activating “The Elite Fugitive Squad” to locate her. After fleeing Georgia, Williams was located in Columbus, Ohio, by U.S. Marshals and the Southern Ohio Fugitive Apprehension Strike Team. Franklin County SWAT arrested Williams without incident.
She is currently being held in Ohio, awaiting extradition to Clayton County, GA, for trial.
