Two Gunshot Victims Found in Vehicle Near  Mobile Home Park in Kingsland, Two Suspects Arrested

At approximately 7:40 p.m. on July 30, 2024, the Kingsland Police Department received reports of gunshots and a vehicle in a ditch near the entrance of Camden Point Mobile Home Park. Responding officers initially could not locate the vehicle but soon discovered a silver sedan a short distance from the mobile home park. The sedan had multiple bullet holes, and a gunshot victim was found in the rear passenger seat. Emergency medical services provided immediate care, and the victim was transported to a hospital in Jacksonville, Florida.

Simultaneously, a second gunshot victim arrived at the Southeast Georgia Health System Camden Campus. This individual reported being involved in the Camden Point incident and was later transferred to a hospital in Jacksonville for further treatment.

A preliminary investigation led to the identification and arrest of two suspects connected to the shooting. The Kingsland Police Department, assisted by the Camden County Sheriff’s Office and the St. Mary’s Police Department, is continuing to investigate the incident. Authorities are working to gather additional evidence and details regarding the circumstances of the shooting.
