Vehicle Pursuit Ends in Arrests of Three Teens in Crisp County

Early Wednesday morning, June 26th, a Crisp County Sheriff’s Deputy initiated a pursuit near Omar Heights in search of a reported stolen truck. At approximately 4:00 A.M., the deputy spotted a vehicle matching the description and attempted to pull it over. The driver, instead of complying, accelerated and led authorities on a brief chase marked by reckless driving.

The pursuit concluded when the truck finally halted. Upon apprehension, it was revealed that the vehicle carried three male occupants: a 16-year-old driver, accompanied by a 15-year-old and a 19-year-old passenger. All individuals were taken into custody by local law enforcement and handed over to the Cordele Police Department. The incident remains under investigation.
