Traffic Stop Leads to Drug and Weapon Arrest in Bibb County

Bibb County Sheriff’s Office S.R.T. Unit deputies conducted a traffic stop on a Honda Accord driver along Houston Avenue after observing neither occupant wearing seatbelts.

The passenger attempted to flee but was caught, while the driver, wanted in a neighboring county, was arrested. P

repackaged narcotics, including suspected ecstasy pills, were discovered in the car and the passenger’s bookbag, along with a loaded handgun. Both individuals were taken into custody without issue and transported to the Bibb County Sheriff’s Office Law Enforcement Center.
