Major Drug Bust: Acworth Man Faces Multitude of Charges After Traffic Stop in Crisp County
On May 21, 2024, at approximately 8:15 P.M., a Crisp County Sheriff’s Deputy initiated a traffic stop on a blue Honda CR-V for speeding along GA 401/I75 near mile marker 104. The driver, identified as Frederick Davies, failed to provide a valid license upon request.
During the stop, the deputy detected the odor of marijuana emanating from the vehicle and noticed an open container of alcohol in the cup holder. Following a subsequent search, the deputy uncovered several illegal narcotics.
As a result, Davies, a 47-year-old male from Acworth, Georgia, was placed under arrest and transported to the Crisp County Detention Center without further incident.
Davies now faces an extensive list of charges, including speeding, driving with a suspended license, DUI less safe, open container violation, and multiple counts related to drug possession and distribution, as well as firearm-related charges.

Davies remains in custody pending further legal proceedings.
