Major Drug Trafficking Arrest Made in Macon After Six Month Investigation
Tavish Faulks, a 32-year-old resident of Bibb County, GA, was arrested and charged with Trafficking Methamphetamine on April 29, 2024, following a joint drug investigation in Macon, Bibb County, GA. The Georgia Bureau of Investigation Middle Georgia Gang Task Force (MGGTF), Peach County Sheriff’s Office, and the Georgia State Patrol collaborated on this operation. Additional charges are pending.
After a 6-month investigation, law enforcement conducted a traffic stop on Faulks’ SUV in Macon, GA, with assistance from the Georgia State Patrol. During the stop, GBI agents seized approximately 9 ounces of suspected Methamphetamine, 100 suspected Fentanyl pills, about one-half ounce of suspected Marijuana, and 2 handguns.
Subsequently, a Federal Search Warrant was executed at an apartment linked to Faulks on Houston Rd. in Macon, GA. Two additional guns were found at the apartment.
Faulks was taken into custody and booked into the Macon-Bibb County Jail following his arrest.
The investigation, led by GBI-MGGT, Macon-Bibb Sheriff’s Office, GDC, DCS, and Georgia State Patrol, aimed to combat street-level drug distribution and gang activity in Macon, Bibb County, fostering a safer environment for residents. The Middle Georgia Gang Task Force operates across Middle and South Georgia.
