High-Speed Chase Ends in Arrests of Three Women Suspected in Retail Thefts

Bibb County Sheriff’s Office deputies arrested three females following a high-speed chase that began on Eisenhower Parkway and escalated into Crawford County. The pursuit, reaching speeds over 100 mph, saw the driver deliberately striking a patrol vehicle.

Assistance from Crawford County Sheriff’s Office, Georgia State Patrol, and Roberta Police Department was called in, utilizing spike strips to deflate a tire. Eventually, the driver lost control, colliding with a utility pole. Attempting to flee, the trio was swiftly apprehended.

Suspected in multiple local retail thefts across Central Georgia and Metro Atlanta, at least two of the women were already on probation. They now face charges including Aggravated Assault, Felony Fleeing and Eluding, Theft by Shoplifting, and Obstruction of Law Enforcement, with further charges pending.
