Dirt Bike Rider Arrested After High-Speed Chase and Crash in Bibb County

A Bibb County Sheriff’s Office S.R.T. Unit deputy recently conducted a traffic stop on a dirt bike rider for speeding without a helmet or taillights on Ell Street.

The rider refused to stop, accelerated, ran a stop sign, and drove against traffic until crashing on Jeff Davis Street. The rider attempted to flee but was subdued by deputies using a taser.

The 39-year-old male was wanted on multiple warrants including driving on a suspended license and leaving the scene of an accident. He was safely transported to the Bibb County Sheriff’s Office Law Enforcement Center.
