Wanted Suspect Arrested After Dramatic Chase and Vehicle Collision in Bibb County

Bibb County Sheriff’s Office Special Response Team deputies responded to a domestic call, capturing a wanted suspect who engaged in a series of dangerous actions. The suspect, attempting to evade authorities, rammed two patrol vehicles and a civilian’s vehicle before trying to hit two deputies on foot at a Gray Highway shopping center.

Deputies swiftly halted the suspect’s vehicle on Clinton Road, breaking the window to extract the individual from the Isuzu Axiom. The driver sustained minor injuries and was taken into custody without further incident.

The suspect faces multiple charges, including Aggravated Assault with a Motor Vehicle (4 Counts), Possession of a Schedule II Controlled Substance (Meth), Obstruction of an Officer (2 Counts), Fleeing/Attempting to Elude, Reckless Driving, Speeding, Failure to Maintain Lane, Interference with Government Property (2 Counts), Theft by Taking Motor Vehicle, and Criminal Damage to Property 1st Degree.
