The incident in question occurred on March 30, 2024, at 10:59 pm in the 4000 block of Watson Blvd. Warner Robins Police responded to a report concerning the welfare of a person lying near the roadway. They discovered Timothy Thomas, who had been struck by a vehicle. Thomas was rushed to a local hospital in critical condition but has since stabilized.

The Traffic Division located the suspect vehicle on April 5th in Macon, identifying Dustin Nelson as the driver.
