Hit-and-Run Suspect Surrenders to Warner Robins Police

Dustin Nelson, the suspect in a hit-and-run crash, surrendered himself to Warner Robins Police on April 23, 2024. He faces charges of Felony Hit and Run and Failure to Report an Accident with Injury.

The incident in question occurred on March 30, 2024, at 10:59 pm in the 4000 block of Watson Blvd. Warner Robins Police responded to a report concerning the welfare of a person lying near the roadway. They discovered Timothy Thomas, who had been struck by a vehicle. Thomas was rushed to a local hospital in critical condition but has since stabilized.

The Traffic Division located the suspect vehicle on April 5th in Macon, identifying Dustin Nelson as the driver.
