Fatal Shooting Leaves One Dead, Another Critical in Atlanta’s Greenbriar Area

On April 19, 2024, at around 8:26 p.m., Atlanta Police Zone 4 officers rushed to 2890 Greenbriar Pkwy. SW, near Greenbriar Mall, following reports of a shooting.
Upon arrival, officers found a 31-year-old man with a gunshot wound. Medical responders declared him deceased at the scene.
Another adult male was discovered with multiple gunshot wounds and was rushed to the hospital in critical condition by ambulance.
Investigators with the Homicide Unit responded to the scene to determine the circumstances surrounding the incident. The investigation continues.
