Two Women Stabbed in Vine City Fight
On April 17, 2024, at around 3:19 p.m., Atlanta Police Zone 1 officers rushed to 55 Maple Dr NW in the Vine City area in response to reports of a stabbing incident. Upon arrival, they found an adult female with a stab wound. She was taken to the hospital in critical condition by EMS. Another adult female was also discovered at the scene with a stab wound. She was conscious and breathing, and EMS transported her to the hospital.
Preliminary investigations indicate that the stabbing arose from a verbal dispute that escalated into a physical altercation. Detectives are currently on-site to ascertain further details surrounding the incident. The investigation is ongoing.
