One Dead, Another Injured in Athens Fatal Shooting
On April 17th, 2024, at around 11:00 PM, Athens-Clarke County Police Department received a report of a shooting in the 100 block of Huntington Road.
Upon arrival, officers discovered Nigel Zachariah Turner, aged 25 from Athens, GA, deceased at the scene due to a gunshot wound.
Another individual sustained non-life-threatening injuries and was transported to a local hospital.
