GBI Makes Arrest in Homerville Shooting, Teen Suspect at Large

The Georgia Bureau of Investigation (GBI) has made progress in the case of the death of Raheem Poole, age 25, of Homerville, GA. Phillip White, age 33, has been arrested and charged with Aggravated Assault in connection with the incident. Additionally, Shea Foster, age 19, is wanted on charges of Felony Murder and Aggravated Assault in relation to the same case.

The Homerville Police Department called upon the GBI to look into Poole’s death after responding to a 911 call on Sunday, April 14, 2024, regarding a shooting near Happyville Lane and Old Fargo Road around 11:50 a.m. Upon arrival, officers discovered Poole deceased from suspected gunshot wounds.

As the investigation unfolded, it was revealed that White had allegedly assaulted Foster prior to the shooting. White was subsequently apprehended without resistance. However, Foster remains at large and is suspected to be in either Homerville, Georgia, or Jacksonville, Florida.
