Arrest Made in Westside Bar & Grill Shooting Incident in Carrollton

In the early hours of Sunday, March 24, 2024, officers rushed to 815 Alabama Street, Westside Bar & Grill, after receiving reports of a shooting. Upon arrival, they found a tumultuous scene and a man, identified as Mario Chism, lying on the ground with multiple gunshot wounds.

Following an investigation and eyewitness accounts, it was revealed that a disagreement inside the bar escalated into the shooting. The assailant quickly fled the scene after the incident.

Authorities have arrested Ladarrious Dekenbie Reese, aged 25 and from Carrollton, in connection with the shooting. Reese turned himself in to the Carroll County Jail later that Sunday morning. He faces charges of Aggravated Assault and Reckless Conduct.

The case remains active and ongoing, with the possibility of further charges and arrests. The Carrollton Police Department, led by Detective Brandon Wilson, is spearheading the investigation.
