Gwinnett County Police are seeking the public’s assistance in locating Jaylen Anderson, the suspect in a $200,000 real estate scam. The scam, which occurred in January 2023, involved two victims who reported being defrauded of over $100,000 each.

According to reports, the victims responded to a Facebook Marketplace ad regarding property in Ellenwood, Georgia. They were then directed to wire large sums of money to what they believed was a law firm in Atlanta, represented by the suspect. However, upon arriving at the supposed law office on their closing dates, the victims realized they had fallen victim to a scam.

Following the reports, Gwinnett County Police detectives initiated an investigation. Through various investigative methods, they identified the suspect as 23-year-old Jaylen Anderson from Fairburn. Anderson faces charges including four counts of Theft by Deception, Identity Theft, and Records and Reports of Currency Transactions. However, his current whereabouts are unknown.
