Arrest Made in 2023 Clover Lane Shooting

Columbus Police Department has arrested Reginald Wright, 36, in connection with the fatal shooting on Clover Lane last year. The incident, which occurred on October 25, 2023, at the 2500 block of Clover Lane, left 50-year-old Frank Bell dead from gunshot wounds.

Warrants were issued for Wright’s arrest on November 17, 2023, based on probable cause. He was apprehended in Dothan, Alabama, and extradited back to Columbus on March 19, 2024.

Wright faces multiple charges, including murder, possession of a firearm during the commission of a crime, and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon. He is scheduled to appear in court on Friday, March 22, 2024, at 9:00 a.m.
