Hartsfield-Jackson ATL Wins Best Airport in North America for 2023
Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport (ATL) has once again clinched the spotlight, with passengers applauding its superior service. The 2023 Airport Service Quality (ASQ) Award for Best Airport in North America (By Size and Region – over 40 million passengers) has been bestowed upon ATL, marking a consecutive win for the bustling hub. This accolade, which recognizes the top 20% satisfaction score from departing passengers, underscores ATL’s commitment to excellence.
The ASQ initiative by the Airports Council International (ACI) stands as a unique benchmarking program within the aviation industry. It gauges passenger satisfaction in real-time, offering a comprehensive evaluation of the customer service experience through departure and arrival surveys.
ATL General Manager Balram “B” Bheodari expressed gratitude for the recognition, attributing it to the collective efforts of the airport team. “This recognition represents the hard work of our entire Airport team who strive to deliver a best-in-class experience for our passengers each day,” said Bheodari.
Established in 2006, ASQ stands as the premier airport passenger satisfaction program globally, with over 400 airports across 109 countries participating. The ASQ Awards, delivered annually by ACI World in collaboration with Amadeus, a leading technology company in the travel and tourism sector, celebrate airport excellence in customer experience based on data from Departures and Arrivals Surveys.
