Wanted Man Arrested After Police Chase in Bibb County
A Bibb County Sheriff’s Office K-9 Interdiction Unit deputy conducted a traffic stop on a silver Honda Accord along Houston Avenue recently.
During the stop, the driver abruptly exited the vehicle while it was still in motion, leaving a woman and a small child inside. The woman then moved into the driver’s seat and brought the car to a sudden halt.
Following a pursuit on foot through a field to Grenada Terrace and into Pendleton Homes, deputies successfully apprehended the fleeing driver.
Upon investigation, it was discovered that the individual was wanted on a warrant and was driving without insurance and with an expired registration.
