Traffic Stop Leads to Drug and Weapon Seizure, Arrests in Bibb County

Bibb County Sheriff’s Office Special Response Team (S.R.T.) deputies conducted a traffic stop on a Chevrolet Impala along Radio Drive due to the absence of a license plate.

Upon inspection, deputies discovered narcotics, a scale, and two firearms within the vehicle. One of the firearms was confirmed as stolen from a neighboring county.

The passenger in the vehicle was found to be wanted on both a Superior Court Bench Warrant and a warrant from a nearby county.

Both individuals were apprehended and taken to the Bibb County Sheriff’s Office Law Enforcement Center for further processing.
