Avelo Airlines Introduces Nonstop Flights from Atlanta to Southern Connecticut
Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport (ATL) has exciting news for travelers as it welcomes Avelo Airlines and its new air service. Starting May 2, Avelo will initiate nonstop flights from ATL to Tweed-New Haven Airport (HVN), marking a significant addition to the airport’s offerings.
Avelo Airlines becomes the first and only airline to provide nonstop service between ATL and Southern Connecticut. The flights will operate four times weekly on Mondays, Thursdays, Fridays, and Sundays, utilizing Boeing Next-Generation 737 aircraft. Reservations can be made through Avelo’s website, AveloAir.com.
Balram “B” Bheodari, the Airport General Manager, expressed enthusiasm about the partnership, highlighting the new cost-effective travel option for both business and leisure travelers. This service will facilitate exploration of the attractions of both Atlanta and Southern Connecticut.

Avelo Airlines, which began service in April 2021, has quickly become a notable player in the airline industry, having flown over four million customers on over 30,000 flights. Currently, Avelo serves 47 destinations across 23 states and Puerto Rico, with its expansion continuing to offer travelers more options and convenience.
