Arrest Made in Connection with August Murder of Macon Man

On December 1, 2023, at around 2:00 p.m. on Friday, Keenan Devonte Andrews, aged 27, was apprehended by the U.S. Marshals Southeast Regional Task Force and the Bibb County Sheriff’s Office SWAT Unit. The arrest took place at a residence in the 1500 block of Williamson Road in Macon. Andrews, a resident of Macon, was wanted in Bibb County in connection with the death of 34-year-old Jerry Lewis Burke on August 30, 2023.

Additionally, he faced several other warrants in Bibb County, including Superior Court Probation Violation for charges of robbery, simple battery, and multiple counts of cruelty to children.

Following his apprehension, Keenan Andrews was transported to the Bibb County Law Enforcement Center, where he now faces a charge of murder.
