Bibb County S.R.T. Unit Arrests Three in Stolen Vehicle Operation, Uncover Firearms and Drugs
Bibb County Sheriff’s Office Special Response Team (S.R.T.) Unit deputies successfully apprehended three suspects on Jeffersonville Road today, acting on a tip related to a stolen vehicle.
Two of the arrested individuals were found in possession of firearms. Notably, one of the armed suspects, previously out on bond for aggravated assault charges in DeKalb County, attempted to flee but engaged in a physical altercation with deputies before being subdued and taken into custody.
In addition to the arrests, law enforcement recovered the stolen vehicle, confiscated the weapons, and seized illegal drugs during the operation.
