Clarkston Police Investigate Homicide of 17-Year-Old, Seek Public’s Help
Detectives with the Clarkston Police Department Homicide Unit are requesting public assistance in a homicide investigation related to an incident that occurred on the 3800 block of Brockett Road.
On Monday, June 17, 2024, at approximately 12:30 AM, officers responded to a call at Springdale Glen Apartments. Upon arrival, they found 17-year-old Messiah Battle lying on an exterior stairwell with multiple gunshot wounds. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
The Clarkston Police Department is asking anyone with information about this incident, including the identities of individuals present during the shooting, to come forward.
