Bartow County Deputy Foils Burglary: Two Arrested in Fireworks Heist

In the early morning hours of Saturday, June 15, 2024, a Bartow County Sheriff’s Deputy attempted a traffic stop on a U-Haul box truck behind the Cartersville Crossing Shopping Center at 407 E. Main Street. After a brief chase, the vehicle stopped, and the driver and passenger fled on foot.

Adrian Jamar Daniels was apprehended at the scene. A search of the U-Haul revealed a large quantity of fireworks stolen from the Great Grizzly Fireworks Store at 441 E. Main Street.

Mr. Daniels faces charges of Burglary, Theft by Taking, Theft by Receiving, Fleeing & Eluding, Altering a Tag with Intent to Conceal Identity of a Vehicle, Failure to Obey a Traffic Control Device, Driving While License Suspended, and Obstruction.

Cartersville Police Investigators also charged Sharina Victoria Jackson with Party to a Crime for her role in the burglary. Both suspects are housed at the Bartow County Jail pending a bond hearing.

The Cartersville Police Department expressed their appreciation to the Bartow County Sheriff’s Office for their assistance.
