Human Remains Discovered in Macon Vacant Residence

Bibb County Sheriff’s Office Deputies responded to a vacant residence on the 1600 block of Pio Nono Lane at approximately 1:00 p.m. on Monday afternoon. The property owner reported finding human remains in a crawl space under the residence.

Upon arrival, deputies confirmed the remains were human. Investigators with the Bibb County Sheriff’s Office were called to the scene. Among the remains, a small Blue’s Clues t-shirt and blue bandana pajama bottoms were discovered.

The identity of the remains and the duration they have been in the crawl space are yet to be determined. The remains will be sent to the GBI Crime Lab for examination to establish the person’s identity.
