Accident Leaves One Dead, One Injured in Warner Robins

The Warner Robins Police Department responded to an accident at 502 S. Pleasant Hill Rd. early Thursday morning, June 6, 2024. Officers found a 2005 Nissan Titan overturned and resting on the driver’s side in a wooded area just north of the Warner Robins Little Theatre.

Cristina Rivera, 35, was discovered in the wood line a short distance from the vehicle with injuries to her leg. Omri Troy, 37, was found inside the Nissan Titan and was pronounced dead at the scene. Rivera was transported to a local hospital where she is listed in stable condition.

The Warner Robins Police Department’s Traffic Division has taken over the investigation. Preliminary findings indicate that the Nissan Titan, driven by Rivera, was traveling north on S. Pleasant Hill Rd. when it crossed the centerline, then back over the roadway, and departed the pavement on the east side. The vehicle struck a utility pole, overturned, and continued traveling north before coming to rest in the tree line on the north side of the parking lot at 502 S. Pleasant Hill Rd.
