Arrests Made in Dublin Homicide Case
In connection to the double homicide that occurred in Dublin, GA on March 21, 2024, the Georgia Bureau of Investigation (GBI) has made significant progress. Three individuals have been arrested and charged with various offenses related to the incident.
Kyndall Xavier Ashante Brazeal, aged 22, from Rentz, GA, was apprehended and charged on Monday, April 1, 2024. Brazeal faces 2 counts of Party to a Crime of Felony Murder, 7 counts of Party to the Crime of Aggravated Assault, and Street Gang Terrorism and Prevention (a) and (b).
Jaswain Martwain Bell, aged 23, hailing from Dublin, GA, was taken into custody and charged on Tuesday, April 2, 2024. Bell is accused of 2 counts of Felony Murder, 7 counts of Aggravated Assault, 7 counts of Possession of a Firearm During the Commission of a Crime, 7 counts of Possession of a Firearm by a Convicted Felon, and Street Gang Terrorism and Prevention (a), (b), and (d).
Quintez Dewayne Mercer, aged 27, residing in East Dublin, GA, was arrested and charged on Wednesday, April 3, 2024. Mercer faces 2 counts of Felony Murder, 7 counts of Aggravated Assault, 7 counts of Possession of a Firearm During the Commission of a Crime, 7 counts of Possession of a Firearm by a Convicted Felon, and Street Gang Terrorism and Prevention (a), (b), and (d).
All three suspects have been booked into the Laurens County Detention Center.
Regarding the victims, only one remains hospitalized but is reported to be in stable condition.
