Three Wounded in Late-Night Shooting Near Jackson Springs Park in Macon

MACON, Ga. – Three people were wounded in a late-night shooting near Jackson Springs Park, according to the Bibb County Sheriff’s Office.

The shooting was reported just before midnight Saturday, September 21st, in the 800 block of Parkview Court.

Deputies responding to reports of multiple people shot found two 29-year-old men suffering from gunshot wounds. Paramedics treated both men at the scene before transporting them to a local medical facility.

A 23-year-old woman later arrived at a hospital with a gunshot wound that investigators believe was connected to the same incident.

All three victims were listed in stable condition, according to medical staff.

The sheriff’s office has not released the victims’ names or provided information about what led to the shooting. No arrests or suspect descriptions were announced.

The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office Criminal Investigation Division is investigating.
