Macon Man Killed in Three-Vehicle Crash on Eisenhower Parkway

MACON, Georgia – The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a fatal three-vehicle crash that claimed the life of a Macon man late Thursday night.

The collision was reported to the Macon-Bibb E-911 Center shortly before 11 p.m. on May 28 at the intersection of Log Cabin Drive and Eisenhower Parkway in Macon.

Deputies arriving at the scene discovered a crash involving a Ford Edge, a Mercedes-Benz, and a Serena Wholesale truck.

Investigators identified the driver of the Ford Edge as 38-year-old Victor Anthony Calhoun. Authorities said Calhoun died from his injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene. His next of kin has been notified.

The other drivers involved, a 17-year-old male operating the Mercedes-Benz and a 66-year-old man driving the Serena Wholesale truck, were treated by paramedics at the scene. No additional injuries were reported.

Fatality investigators and the Motor Carrier Compliance Division are working to determine the circumstances that led to the crash.

The investigation remains ongoing, and additional information is expected to be released as it becomes available.
