Two Teenagers Shot at Macon Apartment Complex, One in Critical Condition

MACON, Georgia – The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a shooting that injured two teenagers Thursday evening at an apartment complex in Macon.

Deputies responded to River Bend Apartments at 3645 Mercer University Drive after the incident was reported to the Macon-Bibb Emergency 911 Center at approximately 7:36 p.m.

According to investigators, an 18-year-old male and a 17-year-old male arrived at a medical facility by personal vehicle suffering from gunshot wounds.

Medical staff reported the 18-year-old victim is in stable condition, while the 17-year-old victim remains in critical condition.

Authorities said the circumstances surrounding the shooting remain under investigation, and additional information will be released as it becomes available.
