Two Arrested After Columbus Police Seize Marijuana, Firearms During Search Warrant
COLUMBUS, Ga. — Two men were arrested after investigators seized marijuana, firearms, and cash during the execution of a search warrant at a Columbus residence, according to the Columbus Police Department.
Police said the department’s Special Operations Division executed the warrant Thursday, May 7, 2026, at a home in the 1000 block of Kirkland Drive.
During the search, investigators recovered approximately 440.5 grams of marijuana with an estimated street value of $4,405, three firearms, including one reported stolen, and $705 in cash.
Authorities arrested 38-year-old Quinton Williams and 34-year-old Johnte Williams in connection with the investigation.
According to police, Quinton Williams was charged with three counts of Possession of a Firearm During the Commission of a Crime, Theft by Receiving a Stolen Firearm, Possession of Marijuana with Intent to Distribute, and Possession of Drug-Related Objects.
Johnte Williams faces three counts of Possession of a Firearm During the Commission of a Crime, Theft by Receiving a Stolen Firearm, Possession of Marijuana with Intent to Distribute, and Possession of Drug-Related Objects, authorities said.
The Columbus Police Department said the investigation remains ongoing.
