Bulloch County Young Man Arrested in Child Exploitation Investigation After Cyber Tip
BULLOCH COUNTY, Ga. — A 21-year-old Bulloch County man has been arrested and charged following a child exploitation investigation that began with a cyber tip, according to the Georgia Bureau of Investigation.
Thomas Henry Brown, of Bishop in Bulloch County, was arrested Friday, April 17, 2026, and charged with one count of sexual exploitation of children.
According to the GBI, the investigation began in February 2025 after the agency’s Child Exploitation and Computer Crimes Unit received a Cyber Tipline Report from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children regarding possible online possession and distribution of child sexual abuse material.
Authorities said the investigation led to Brown’s arrest more than a year later.
Brown was booked into the Bulloch County Jail.
The Bulloch County Sheriff’s Office and the U.S. Army Criminal Investigation Division assisted in the investigation.
The GBI said the case is part of the ongoing effort by the Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) Task Force, housed within the GBI’s Child Exploitation and Computer Crimes Unit, to identify those involved in the trade of child sexual abuse material. The ICAC Program, created by the U.S. Department of Justice, was developed in response to the increasing number of children and teenagers using the internet, the proliferation of child sexual abuse material, and the heightened online activity by predators searching for unsupervised contact with underage victims.
The investigation remains ongoing.
